Carly Moldow
Childbirth Doula

trained through DONA international

I became inspired to work with birth when I realized that this beautiful, sacred, integral moment of life is being depraved, violated, and unloved all too often, by the caregivers and systems mothers are dependent on for safety and support. It is all too often, in this incredibly vulnerable time, people are being denied the basic elements of care.

I realized what a critical need there is for close, intimate, community-oriented care, that has a true relationship to their client, that is not purely monetary.

The more and more I learned about birth and the body, the more deeply I fell in love.

I took a DONA approved Childbirth Doula Workshop this February 2023, a DONA approved Breastfeeding course in  March 2023, and am working towards my DONA international certification by the end of 2023.

Stemming from a deep passion for nature, creativity and the body, learning and working with birth is where I am finding myself.

I studied art at Alfred University of Alfred, New York, and in 2020 I received my bachelors in Fine Arts, and a minor in Dance and English.

Creativity and expression has been a constant thread throughout my life since my childhood, and my intention is to bring this into my work as a Childbirth Doula.

I believe that the freedom to create is the key to healing, empowerment and self-attunement.
